Hello Fellow Supporters of Stomp The Blues Out of Homelessness:
Each day with open eyes and a willing soul we are able to help our community’s most vulnerable. Whether it is a meal or a tarp, a book bag or gift certificate, everyday someone from our gaggle of community oriented souls is helping to make someone else’s life better.
We started this journey 5 plus years ago with a simple plan to provide lunch one day a month at Bill’s Place, little did we know that in every direction we turned there would be impoverished citizens of Springfield in need of help.
Like minded people, such as us, have all come together to help alleviate immediate concerns such as food and clothing. And we know that once each of us looks at the other without judgment and without condemning those who aren’t as lucky or fortunate as we are then Springfield will be a much better place.
We are excited about this year’s Stomp The Blues Festival, we have a fantastic national lineup and locally we are proud to call Sister Lucille our cohort/special friends and supporters – they will be our opening artist.
Chesterfield Village is once again the location of this year’s 5th Annual Festival and we are excited to have Not’Cho Ordinary Taco, Smokin In the Ozarks and Remo’s Mobile Pizzeria along with your favorite beverages from Premium Beverage.
Please remember our sponsors and pay them back with your patronage.
See you on May 16th.
